MANILA, Philippines - Magpapatuloy ang 83rd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series ngayon sa Diliman College Swimming Pool sa Quezon City.
Nasa 400 tankers mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa ang tinatayang magsusukatan ng galing sa mga kategorya na Class A, B at C at Motivational.
Ang mga makikitaan ng galing ay may tsansang masama sa bubuuing PSL delegation para sa 2017 Summer World University Games sa Taipei, Taiwan.
Ang hindi papalarin sa World Games ay puwedeng ipadala sa mga international tournament sa Japan, Thailand, Australia, China at Brazil.
“We look forward for a blast off competitions for Universiade 2017 candidates and those that has recently attended the midget meet. PSL is really in a grassroots development program since it caters the youngest 2yrs. old up to oldest of 18 and over,” pahayag ni PSL Secretary General Maria Susan Benasa.
“Swimmers must undergo a process of development and the PSL is doing everything to help the swimmers develop sound mind and body by opening our doors to swimmers as young as two-years old up to 18-and-over,” dagdag pa ni Benasa.
May mga medalyang tatanggapin ang mga swimmers na tatapos sa unang tatlong puwesto sa bawat event habang may kikilalanin ding Most Outstanding Swimmers sa mga age groups na paglalabanan.
Ang male at female tanker na makakalikom ng pinakamataas na FINA points ang bibigyan ng President’s Trophy at P1,500 cash.prize.
