Mayweather: ‘Pacquiao fight won’t define my legacy’

Russell Cadayona - Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines – Bagama’t sinasabing magiging pinakamalaking boxing event sa buong mundo, itinuturing lamang ni Floyd Mayweather, Jr. ang kanilang laban ni Manny Pacquiao bilang isang ordinaryong laban.

“Well I don’t feel that one fight defines my legacy,” wika ni Mayweather sa kanilang mega showdown ni Pacquiao sa Mayo 2 sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada. “To me, it’s just another day. It’s just another fight.”

“I mean, when you just look at the tale of the tape, I have a longer reach, I’m taller, I’m stronger, and I’m more accurate,” ani Mayweather na naniniwalang nagbago ang kondisyon ni Pacquiao mula nang iwanan ni strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza noong 2012.

“He may not be the same fighter, but this is a guy that I cannot overlook. He got here somehow and some way. You never take nothing for granted because anything can happen. But as far as me being nervous or worried, absolutely not, but I’m always cautious and smart,” pagtatapos ni Mayweather.
