Pacquiao vs Bradley sa Abril 12 sa Vegas kumpirmado na

MANILA, Philippines - Tuloy na ang rematch nina Filipino world eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao at world welterweight titlist Timothy Bradley, Jr. sa Abril 12 sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ito ang inihayag kaha­pon ng Top Rank Promotions ni Bob Arum.

“I’m ready to get this fight camp started, but most of all, I’m ready for redem­p­tion,” sabi ng 30-anyos na si Bradley sa pamamagitan ng isang text message sa The Times.

Sa kanyang pagtungo sa Cebu City kamakailan ay ibinunyag ng 35-anyos na si Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs) na si Bradley (31-0-0, 12 KOs) ang kanyang lalabanan at hindi si world light welterweight king Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2-0, 16 KOs).

Sinabi ni Pacquiao na gusto niyang resbakan si Bradley na tumalo sa kanya via split decision at umagaw sa suot niyang World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown noong Hunyo 9, 2012.

“Bradley is a much different fighter since their last meeting,” wika ni Arum. “The fight of the year, bea­ting Marquez, he’s going to be much tougher on Manny this time.”

“Many felt he didn’t win that first fight. Now, he wants to win without controversy,” dagdag pa ng 82-ayos na promoter.

Matapos ang kabi­guan kay Bradley ay tumumba naman si Pacquiao sa sixth round mula sa isang counter punch ni Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs) sa kanilang ikaapat na paghaharap noong Disyembre 8, 2012.

Nagbalik si Pacquiao sa eksena noong Nobyembre 24 kung saan niya dinomina si Brandon ‘Bam Bam’ Rios sa kanilang non-title, welterweight fight sa Macau, China.
