Bohol, Cebu tankers sumisid ng tig-13 golds

TACLOBAN, Philippines--Humakot ang Cebu City at Bohol Pro­vince ng tig-13 gintong me­dalya sa swimming competitions ng Philippine Sports Commission-Phi­lippine Olympic Committee Batang Pinoy Visayas qualifying leg.

Pinamunuan ni Karen Mae Indaya ang ratsada ng Cebu City matapos kumuha ng tatlong gold me­dals mula sa kanyang mga panalo sa girls 13-15 400-meter freestyle, 800m free at 200m free sa Leyte Sports Academy swimming stadium.

Pinangunahan din ni Indaya ang pagrereyna ng 200m medley relay team katuwang sina Justine Reign Garrido, Tara Kyla Ebon at Micah Marie Dela Cerna.

Ang iba pang nagbigay ng ginto para sa Cebu City ay sina Michael Ichiro Kong (boys 13-15 200m butterfly at 50m fly), Madelin Capacio (girls 13-15 200m backstroke at 200m fly), Garrido (girls 13-15 50m breaststroke at 200m breast), Val Andrei Chiu (boys 11-12 100m free), Rafael John Dacaldacal (boys 13-15 200m back) at Ebon (girls 11-12 800m free).

Ang tatlong gold medal ni Indaya ay dinuplika ni Rian Marco Tirol ng Bohol Province sa kanyang mga panalo sa boys 12-under 50m breast, 50m fly at 200m breast.

Binanderahan din ni Tirol ang gold-winning 200m medley relay squad kasama sina Job Vincent Aseniero, Patrick Louie Birad at Gabriel Manigque.
