“When you don’t have anything to lose, you can even play a great game as we did in the game versus China,” sabi ni Italian mentor Matteo Boniciolli. “I know my team can produce even as we saw in the scrimmage before the beginning of competition against the Philippine team.”

At madalang silang mag-compete. That’s why it’s hard to scout them. It’s hard to read their game,” ani Jong Uichico,  ang coach ng Pilipinas noong 2002 Asian Games.

Bukod kay Chan, muli ring aasahan ni Reyes sina 6’11 naturalized center Marcus Douthit, Ranidel De Ocampo, Gabe Norwood, Jayson Castro William, LA Tenorio, Jimmy Alapag, Japeth Aguilar, Mark Pingris, Larry Fonacier, Gary David at June Mar Fajardo.
