96 Quezon City police negatibo sa surprise drug test

MANILA, Philippines — Negatibo sa paggamit ng ilegal na droga ang 96 na tauhan ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) na isinailalim sa sorpresang random drug test nitong Huwebes.

Nabatid na inuutos ni QCPD Director, PCol. Melecio Buslig, Jr. ang pagsasagawa ng random drug tests kasunod ng inisyatiba ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director, PBGen. Anthony Aberin na tiyaking malinis sa anumang  mga bisyo ang mga pulis.

Ayon kay Buslig  agad na tatanggalin ang mga pulis na magpopositibo sa drug test.

Ang mga pulis na nagnegatibo ay mula sa iba’t ibang unit sa QCPD tulad ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) at District Special Operations Unit (DSOU).

Binigyan diin ni Aberin na dapat na magpakita ng magandang halimbawa ang pulis sa publiko at maitaguyod  at mapanatili  ang drug-free workforce.

“This random drug testing unequivocally shows NCRPO’s commitment to integrity and trustworthiness within the ranks. We shall aspire to embody the values of the PNP, and as members of the police organization, we should show that we are examples of accountability,” said Aberin in separate statement.
