MANILA, Philippines — Pagpapamalas ng matatag na ekonomiya ang nakamit na mga parangal ng Taguig City mula sa ika-37 anibersaryo ng Stakeholders’ Recognition ng Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF).
Kabilang sa nasungkit ng lungsod ang Third Place sa Local Source Revenue Collections for Fiscal Year 2022; Third Place sa Local Source Revenue Collections for Fiscal Year 2023; Fourth Place sa Annual Growth of Local Source Revenues for Fiscal Year 2022; Fourth Place sa Ratio of Locally Sourced Revenues to Total Current Operating Income for Fiscal Year 2022; at Fifth Place sa Ratio of Local Source Revenues to Total Current Operating Income, Fiscal Year 2023.
Itinatampok sa mga parangal na ito ang epektibong pamamahala sa business taxes, real property taxes, at iba pang revenue streams na nagbibigay sa pagtaas ng kita na direktang sumusuporta sa mga mahahalagang serbisyo sa lipunan.

Sumasalamin aniya ito, sa pagtutulungan ng pamahalaang lungsod, mga residente, at mga negosyo, na binibigyang-diin na ang sustainable growth at transparent na pamamahala ay mahalaga sa pagbuo ng Transformative, Lively, at Caring future para sa Taguig.
Noong 2023, pumangatlo ang Lungsod ng Taguig sa mga may pinakamataas na revenue na local government units (LGUs) na ?13.54 bilyon, batay sa datos mula sa BLGF sa ilalim ng Department of Finance (DoF).
Ang mga pagkilalang ito ay umaakma sa tagumpay ng Taguig kamakailan sa Creative Cities and Municipalities Congress ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) noong Agosto.
Nakuha ng lungsod ang Top 1 spot sa Economic Dynamism at naitanghal na Most Improved Highly Urbanized City. Ika-7 din ang Taguig sa Innovation at ika-10 sa Most Competitive Cities sa ilalim ng Highly Urbanized Cities category.
