5 parangal nasungkit ng Maynila sa Tourism 18th Pearl Awards
MANILA, Philippines — Ipinagmalaki kahapon ni Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna ang muling pagkamit ng lungsod ng maraming karangalan bilang pagkilala sa lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtataguyod nito ng turismo.
Pinasalamatan ng alkalde ang Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) sa pamumuno ni Director, Charlie Dungo, pati na rin ang mga kawani ng DTCAM na nagsumikap na mapahusay ang turismo sa lungsod.
Ayon kay Lacuna, sa pamamagitan ng DTCAM, ay tumanggap ng limang karangalan mula sa katatapos na 18th Pearl Awards ng Department of Tourism - Philippines at ng Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) na ginanap sa Boracay Newcoast Hotel sa Malay, Aklan noong October 5.
Ang mga karangalan na hinakot ng DTCAM ay ang mga sumusunod: Grand Winner- Best Tourism Promotions Award: Brochure - City for the “Timeless Treasures: Discover the Manila Clock Tower Museum Brochure”; Grand Winner— Best Tourism Event: Religious Festival - City for “Traslacion 2022: A Transformative Religious Event”; first runner up --Best Tourism Week or Monthly Celebration Award - City for “Tourism Reboot: Creating Opportunities for Manila; second runner up— Best Tourism Promotions Video Awards - City for “Anak ng Maynila and certificate of recognition after the city of Manila made it as a finalist in the Best Oriented Local Government Unit Award- City Category.
