DTI bantay sarado sa ‘price freeze’, ‘price gouging’ sa mga lugar na nasa state of calamity
MANILA, Philippines — Mahigpit na binabantayan ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang mga presyo ng basic necessities na naka “price freeze” bunsod ng deklarasyon ng state of calamity sa Metro Manila at Batangas.

Miyerkules, Hulyo 24, 2024 sa kasagsagan ng matinding pagbuhos ng ulan at mga pagbaha na dala ng Habagat nang ideklara ang state of calamity sa 17 lungsod at munisipalidad sa National Capital Region matapos makapagkasunduan ng Metro Manila Council (MMC) na nasundan ng pagdeklara ng DTI ng Price Freeze.
Nagbabala rin ang DTI sa mga negosyo, kabilang ang mga hotel at transient homes, laban sa “price gouging” o hindi makatwirang pagtataas ng presyo.
