Secretary Bautista nagsampa ng kaso vs Manibela president, 1 pa

MANILA, Philippines — Nagsampa ng mga cybercrime charges si Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista laban kina Manibela President Mar Valbuena at Ira Panganiban.

Ito’y kasunod na rin ng alegasyon ng korapsiyon laban sa kanya.

Sa isang pahayag ng DOTr, nabatid na isinampa ni Bautista ang mga kasong paglabag sa Article 355 in relation to Article 353 ng Revised Penal Code of the Republic Act 10175 o Cyber Crime Prevention Act laban kina Valbuena at Panganiban sa tanggapan ng Department of Justice (DOJ).

Ang naturang rek­lamo ay tinanggap naman ni Justice Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty.

Sa kanyang isinumiteng charge sheet, sinabi ni Bautista na hindi niya mapapayagan ang sinuman na dungisan ang kanyang magandang reputasyon at integridad.

Nanindigan din ang kalihim na hindi siya sangkot sa anumang korapsiyon at panunuhol sa DOTr, maging sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

“I cannot allow myself to be the subject of another’s desperate attempt to attain fame, especially when malicious, baseless, and untruthful statements are hurled against me, if only to put a blemish on my untarnished track record and reputation of excellence and integrity,” pahayag pa ni Secretary Bautista.
