Tanggapan ng National Privacy Commission tumanggap ng bomb threat
MANILA, Philippines — Dahil sa natanggap na bomb threat, nagsilikas palabas ng gusali ng Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) ang mga empleyado ng National Privacy Commission (NPC) nitong Biyernes.
Ayon kay Privacy Commissioner John Henry D. Naga sa kanilang Facebook page, kinumpirma niya na dakong alas-2:00 ng hapon nang magsilabasan ang mga kawani ng NPC.
“I want to assure the public that we are taking this bomb threat very seriously, and we have implemented all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel.”
Nang matanggap ang bomb threat, agad na isinagawa ang emergency response procedures at ipinaalam sa security office ng PICC, kung saan naroon ang NPC office.
“ The National Privacy Commission plays a critical role in safeguarding the privacy rights of individuals and protecting their personal data. We are committed to upholding our mandate, and threats against our institution will not prevent us from fulfilling our responsibilities,” saad pa sa pahayag ni Naga.
