2023 Bar exams gagawing mas maaga, pinaigsi, at mas kakaunti ang subjects  

MANILA, Philippines — Idaraos ng mas maaga ang susunod na online at regionalized bar examinations sa mas maikling panahon at mas kaunting core subjects, ayon sa Korte Suprema.

Sinabi ni SC Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, chairperson ng 2023 Bar examinations committee, na gaganapin ang mga pagsusulit sa Setyembre 17, 20 at 24 sa iba’t ibang testing center sa buong bansa.

Bukod sa mas maaga, tatlong araw lamang sa halip na apat na araw ang itatakdang pagsusulit na may anim na core subjects lamang sa halip na walo.

“Commercials Law and Taxation Law have been conjoined to the close affinity between these two fields in legal practice, while Remedial Law and Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises were fused together as these subjects complement each other in actual practice,”paliwanag ni Hernando.

Sa Setyembre 17, 2023 ang  mga subject sa eksaminasyon ay Political and Public International Law sa umaga, at Commercial and Taxation Laws sa hapon, mula alas-8:00 ng umaga hanggang 12:00 ng hapon at mula alas-2:00 ng hapon hanggang alas-6:00 ng gabi.

Sa Set. 20, 2023, ang mga paksang sakop ay Civil Law sa umaga at Labor Law at Social Legislation sa hapon. Sa Setyembre 24, 2023, ang Criminal Law at Remedial Law ay sa umaga at Legal at Judicial Ethics na may Practical Exercises sa hapon.

Ang iskedyul ng 2023 Bar exams at ang mga pagbabago ay inihayag ni Justice Hernando sa kanyang mensahe sa ikatlong araw ng Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-Northern Luzon Regional Convention noong Disyembre 3 sa Cauayan City sa Isabela.

“We will therefore have aspirants to the profession earning their J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree, taking the Bar exams, taking the oath and signing the roll of attorneys all in the same year,” ani Hernando.
