“We call the attention of Police General Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police, to initiate on-site inspection and confiscation of prohibited firecrackers in public markets, It is high time for the PNP to issue at the earliest the list of prohibited firecrackers to stop its manufacture, sale, and distribution, and prevent firecracker-related injury and toxic exposure among children,” pahayag ni Thony Dizon, Toxics Campaigner ng BAN Toxics.
