NCRPO umalerto kasunod sa pagsabog sa Davao

MANILA, Philippines – Nagdeklara na rin kahapon ng full alert status ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa buong Metro Manila matapos ang pambobomba sa Davao City  na ikinasawi ng 14 katao habang 71 pa ang nasugatan, kamakalawa ng gabi.

Sinabi ni NCRPO Director P/Chief Supt. Oscar Alba­yalde, inatasan na niya ang limang District Directors sa Metro Manila na palakasin pa ang seguridad upang mapigilan ang banta ng terorismo.

Nabatid na pinaigting na ang police visibility sa mga matataong lugar sa Metro Manila kabilang ang mga shopping area sa Divisoria  bisinidad ng mga malls, simbahan  at iba pang mga commercial districts.

Bantay sarado rin ang mga terminal ng bus, daungan at paliparan  na naghigpit ng seguridad gayundin sa MRT, LRT stations  na dinaragsa ng daang libong mga commuters.

Samantalang alinsunod sa direktiba ni Albayalde ay naglatag na rin ng mga checkpoints sa mga pangunahing lugar sa Metro Manila kabilang dito ang mga pangunahing instalasyon ng gobyerno.

“All district directors are ordered to account all personnel in view of the full alert status”, ayon sa direktibang ipinalabas ng NCRPO Chief.

Kaugnay nito, pinayuhan naman ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Ismael “Mike” Sueno ang mamamayan na umiwas na muna sa pagtungo sa mga matataong lugar.

“We advise people across the nation to be vigilant and stay away for crowded places for the meantime.

We have sent out an advisory earlier alerting all concerned units to be on the lookout for possible diversionary tactics to be carried out by Abu Sayyaf Group”, pahayag ni Sueno.

“We are still on high alert after ASG has claimed responsibilty over the deadly blast in Davao City.We will continue to take  orders from our commander-in-chief President Rodrigo Duterte. At this time, strict security measures are being implemented to avoid the repeat of the same incident. We encourage people to report any suspicious activities no matter how insignificant it may seem”, ang sabi pa ng opisyal sa text message sa PNP Press Corps.
