Dentista inireklamo sa palpak na pustiso

MANILA, Philippines - Isang dentista ang sinampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo dahil sa umano’y palpak na dental implant na ginawa nito sa isang Chinese national noong 2008.

Sa reklamo sa Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) at DOJ-Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, inakusahan nina  Eric Modesto Wong Ang at amang si Santos Pre Ang, ng Potrero, Malabon City, si Dr. Noel Natividad Velasco at dalawang iba pa ng grave threats (Article 282 ng Revised Penal Code) matapos hamunin ng duwelo ang una at sa kabiguan nitong ibalik ang naunang ibinayad ng huli dahil sa umano’y ginawa nitong palpak na pustiso.

Nais din ng mga complainant na tanggalan ng PRC ng lisensya si Velasco.

“We trust that after due notice and hearing that the respondents will be found guilty as charged and meted the appropriate penalties and sanctions of, among others­, revocation of (PRC) dentistry license (of Dr. Velasco),” ayon sa reklamo.

Dagdag sa reklamo kay Chairman Steve Mark Gan ng PRC’s Board of Dentistry, binanggit din na “after the determination of a probable cause against the respondents that they be subjected to preventive suspension especially if taken against the light of the naked and chilling threat made by the respondents to inflict serious­ physical harm upon the undersigned should he adopt measures to exposed them for their malevolent actuations.”

Nag-ugat ang mga kasong administratibo at kriminal laban kina Velasco at dalawang iba pa matapos humiling ang matandang Ang ng buong refund ng humigit kumulang P1 million na ibinayad nito kay Velasco para sa dental implant pro­cedure/ treatment contract na hindi naman daw maayos ang pagkagawa.

Kabilang din sa mga inireklamo ang isang Alberto Pansacala at isang Atty. Agustin.  Ayon pa sa reklamo, nagsabwatan umano ang mga res­pondent upang takutin at gipitin ang mag-ama nang sa gayon ay hindi na ito magpumilit na ibigay ang refund na hinihingi nito.

Noong April 26, 2013, binanggit na nagtungo si Eric Ang sa klinika ni Velasco sa Landsdale Bldg., Mother Ignacia cor. Timog Avenue, Quezon City, para mag-demand ng refund pero sumingit umano si Atty. Agustin, nagpakilalang abogado at pinagmumura ang una.

Ito rin ang nagbunsod kay Ang para magsampa ng mga kasong kriminal sa Office of the City Pro­secutor ng Quezon City dulot ng naturang pang­yayari.
