Blue Carreon’s ‘Conversations’ now available at NBS

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino lifestyle journalist and fashion editor Blue Carreon’s book Conversations: Up Close and Personal with Icons of Fashion, Interior Design and Art is now available at National Book Store (NBS).

Conversations began as a column for The Huffington Post. It initially featured fashion designers whom Carreon would ask to answer a fill-in-the-blanks type of questionnaire on topics that touch on many aspects of their lives. Through his column, readers discovered the fascinating truths about the personal rituals, alternative careers to thoughts on Botox of some of the world’s renowned and most creative minds. Later on, Carreon went to ask a great mix of personalities, includidng style icons Inès de la Fressange and Olivia Chantecaille; fashion designers Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy, and Michael Bastian; decorators Charlotte Moss, Vicente Wolf, and Mary McDonald; and artists James Nares and Polly Apfelbaum, to be part of the “Conversations” series.

 With over 65 interviews, Conversations stretches over the fields of fashion, interior design, and art. Blue Carreon has been working as a lifestyle journalist and fashion editor for over ten years now. He is currently a regular contributor for Forbes, The Huffington Post, The South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, and Style and Style Men in Singapore. He previously worked as fashion editor for the Philippines and Hong Kong Tatler, and launched the Singapore edition of the Italian magazine Amica. He also curates and writes his own fashion news blog Style Intel. He recently opened a home store and launched a capsule collection of home accessories under his own name at the Century City Mall in Makati.
