MANILA, Philippines — Pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers are returning to their Disney origins to star in a holiday movie coming out on the streaming platform Disney+.

The streaming platform shared a promotional teaser on its YouTube channel where the band attempted to recreate the iconic cue card scene from "Love Actually" — however, lead vocalist Joe initially fumbled by speaking the words they'd written.

On the retake, the brothers revealed they would be making a Christmas movie coming out on Disney+ during the next holiday season, ending with Joe asking if they should move on to another house.

The film bearing the working title "Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie" will see Joe, Nick, and Kevin try to get to New York from London to celebrate Christmas with loved ones.

The brothers will also serve as producers alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, Scott Morgan, Isaac Aptaker, and Elizabeth Berger, the latter two writing the film's script.

Emmy-nominated director Jessica Yu, who like Aptaker and Berger worked on "This Is Us," helms the project, while Grammy-nominated executive music producer Justin Tranter will pen original songs.

The Jonas Brothers had their early start with Disney covering "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me)" from "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from "The Little Mermaid," as well as creating the theme song for "American Dragon: Jake Long."

The band then signed with Disney's Hollywood records and released three albums under the label before their 2013 hiatus, reuniting six years later under Republic Records.

The brothers also appeared in many Disney projects, including "Hannah Montana," the "Disney Channel Games," "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience," their own series "Jonas," and most memorably, the "Camp Rock" movies.
