MANILA, Philippines - Sarah Geronimo is grateful for the blessings that continue to come her way.
“It’s been 10 years since I entered the entertainment industry and now, I can say that my life is getting better and better with the support of my family and fans, especially the Popsters,†she says. “I feel blessed with all the projects that have been given to me and this is also the reason why I want to share what I know with others.â€
For the young people, who want to pursue the path towards a successful career, Sarah shares her simple formula. She says that young people should hone their craft through practice. “Like what many say, ‘Practice makes perfect,’ and I have proven that to be true. As a singer, it’s not enough that you have a good voice, you have to work hard and be patient.â€
A shift in disposition can turn a simple thing into something incredible that’s why staying positive is another thing that Sarah agrees to. “It matters that you are a positive thinker and you spread happiness to people around you. Mas nakaka-inspire kasi talagang magtrabaho ‘pag positive lahat.â€
Most importantly, an attitude of gratitude goes a long way. She recalls with fondness her stint as mentor of The Voice. “I consider being a mentor as my way of giving back. Seeing the contestants’ improvement in every performance gives me fulfillment and pride.â€
Lastly, young people should take care of their relationships, Sarah adds. “Tayong mga Pinoy, maganda sa atin na parang pamilya na rin ang turing sa ating mga kaibigan, kasamahan sa trabaho o simpleng kakilala. For me, I owe a lot of who I am today to these people who have supported and guided me in my career and personal life.†Incidentally, the same message of treating others like family is also highlighted in Jollibee’s newest jingle recorded by Sarah, Dito Tayo Pamilya.
“If my schedule permits, I make it a point to bond with them —even for a simple dinner, lalo na ‘pag merong special occasion. It’s my way of showing my love and gratitude for everything they’ve done for me.â€
Just like how Sarah enjoys her life and career with loved ones, Jollibee Chickenjoy is an all-time favorite Pinoy treat that is best enjoyed in buckets with family, friends and colleagues.
Share family happiness with a Chickenjoy at any Jollibee stores nationwide through dine-in and take-out, available in ala carte meals, value meals and buckets for the group dining treat.
