GCash, EastWest partner to expand access to financial services

MANILA, Philippines — Leading finance super app GCash has partnered with EastWest Banking Corp. to expand its financial services further, in a bid to boost access to fair lending.

Through the strategic collaboration, GCash users will be able to directly apply for EastWest’s tailored financial products featuring exclusive rates and a streamlined application process.

“By integrating EastWest’s financial services into its platform, GCash aims to provide a more comprehensive and convenient financial experience for its users,” GCash said.

It highlighted that the partnership aligns with its mission to promote financial inclusion and make financial services accessible to more Filipinos, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.

“Through this collaboration, more Filipinos can now access EastWest’s tailored lending products directly on the GCash app. This is in line with our shared mission to further promote financial inclusion in the Philippines,” said Tony Isidro, the chief executive officer of Fuse Lending, the official lending arm of GCash.

Under the partnership, EastWest Bank will leverage its expertise to provide financial solutions that meet the needs of GCash users.
