Isra Wal Mi’raj hindi national holiday – Malakanyang

MANILA, Philippines — Idineklara ng Malacañang na Muslim holiday ang Isra Wal Mi’raj ngayong Lunes, Enero 27.

Pero agad ding nili­naw ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na hindi ito national holiday at ang Muslim holiday ay guguni­tain sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Min­danao (BARMM) at iba pang Muslim areas na nasa Muslim Code.

“Muslims in other areas where it is not observed as a holiday such as NCR are excused from reporting for work,” ani Bersamin.

Nakiisa si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nitong Linggo sa Muslim Filipino community sa pag-obserba ng Al Isra Wal Mi’raj.

“Let this observance also serve as a reminder that success is the reward of diligence and amity, and that sacrifice, persistence, and faith can guide us towards realizing our shared purpose in building a peaceful and progressive nation for all,” anang Pangulo.

Inilarawan ng Pangulo ang Al Isra Wal Mi’raj, ang “Paglalakbay at Pag-akyat sa Langit ni Propeta Muhammad,” bilang simbolo ng espirituwal na katatagan at debosyon kay Allah.
