Confidential funds ni VP Sara ipinasa sa security officers
MANILA, Philippines — Ipinapasa umano ng Special Disbursing Officers (SDOs) ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd) ang milyong halaga ng confidential funds sa mga security officers ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa pagdinig ng Kamara, inamin ni Gina Acosta, SDO ng OVP na sa instruction ni VP Sara, siya ang nag-encash ng P125 milyong confidential funds at ibinigay nito kay Col. Raymund Dante Lachica, commander ng Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) noong Disyembre 20, 2022 na mismong araw na winidraw niya ito sa Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) Shaw Boulevard Branch sa Mandaluyong City.
Sinabi naman ni Edward Fajarda, SDO ng DepEd, na sa panahon ng panunungkulan ni VP Sara ay itinurnover niya ang P37.5 milyong confidential funds para sa 1st quarter ng 2023 kay Col. Dennis Nolasco, ang designated security officer ng DepEd.
Sinabi naman ni Fajarda na bagamat siya ang pumipirma ng disbursement voucher at mga certification, ang pondo ay pinangangasiwaan ni Nolasco.
