MANILA, Philippines — Dapat na direktang sagutin ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang kuwestionableng P15 milyon confidential fund at huwag puro iwas.
Ayon kina House Senior Deputy Speaker at Pampanga Rep. Aurelio Gonzales Jr. at House Majority Leader at Zamboanga City Rep. Manuel Jose Dalipe, hindi dapat na binabalewala ni Duterte ang Kongreso lalo pa’t mahalaga ang transparency at accountability sa paggamit ng pondo ng bayan.
“Public funds are at stake here. Stop diverting the issue and address the controversy directly,” sabi ni Gonzales.
Karapatan anya ng publiko na malaman ang totoo kung saan napunta ang P15 milyong confidential fund.
Tinawag naman ni Dalipe na ‘desperate moves’ ang ginawa ni Duterte na ilihis ang tunay na isyu nang magpatawag ito ng press conference kahapon, isang araw matapos mabunyag sa pagdinig ng Kamara ang paggastos ng Office of the Vice President ng P16 milyong confidential funds para sa renta ng mga safehouse sa loob ng 11 araw.
“Instead of addressing these serious allegations, she’s attacking others. The education system declined under her leadership, and public funds were mishandled. She must take responsibility,” punto ni Dalipe.
