Pagbili ng textbooks ng DepEd, mapapabilis na
MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ng Department of Education (DepEd) na mas magiging mabilis ang pagbiling mga textbook at learning tools para sa fiscal year 2025.
Ito ay matapos lagdaan ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara ang DepEd Memorandum No. 49, series of 2024 para sa Early Procurement Activities (EPA) ng DepEd Central Office, regional offices, at schools division offices (SDOs).
“The bidding process for these projects will begin in October 2024, with contracts expected to be awarded and Notices to Proceed (NTPs) issued by January 2025,” ayon pa sa DepEd.
Napapaloob din sa EPA ang stages sa mga pagkakataon sa pag-post, sa rekomendasyon ng Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), sa Head of Procuring Entities (HoPE), hanggang sa pag-apruba ng badyet.
“It applies to procurement projects via Competitive Bidding and Alternative Methods, excluding certain exceptions such as repeat orders, emergency cases, and small-value procurements,” dagdag pa ng DepEd.
