MANILA, Philippines — Pumalo na sa 183,464 pamilya o kabuuang 882,861 katao ang apektado ng pinagsamang southwest monsoon o habagat, bagyong Carina at dating tropical depression Butchoy.

Ayon sa report nitong Miyerkules ni National Di­saster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Executive Director Ariel Nepomuceno, ang mga apektadong pamilya ay mula sa 686 Barangays sa Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol region, Western and Central Visayas, Zamboanga Penin­sula, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, Caraga, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Minda­nao (BARMM) at Cordillera region.

Sa tala ng NDRRMC, nasa 8 pa lamang ang bilang ng nasawi, pito rito ay kumpirmado na kinabibilangan ng apat mula sa Zamboanga Peninsulat at tig-isa naman sa Davao Region, Northern Mindanao at BARMM.

Patuloy na beneberipika ang isang nasawi sa BARMM habang dalawa ang nasugatan at isa ang nawawala sa Northern ­Mindanao.

Nasa 245 naman ang mga nasirang kabahayan mula sa MIMAROPA, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula,Northern Min­danao, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, CARAGA, BARMM at Cordillera.

Sa mga apektadong pamilya nasa 8,230 pamilya o katumbas na 35,388 katao ang kinakanlong sa 90 evacuation centers habang 115,668 pamilya o 576,936 indibidwal ang nasa labas ng mga evacuation sites.
