MANILA, Philippines — Pormal nang inanunsiyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) kahapon ang pagbubukas ng klase sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa bansa.

Sa abiso ng DepEd, magbubukas ang klase para sa School Year 2023-2024 sa lahat ng public schools sa Agosto 29, 2023.

Samantala, ipinauubaya naman ng DepEd sa mga pribadong paaralan ang pagtatakda ng petsa ng pagsisimula ng pasok ng kanilang mga mag-aaral.

Anang DepEd, maaaring magbukas ng klase ang mga private school simula sa unang Lunes ng Hunyo, ngunit hindi dapat na lampas sa huling araw ng Agosto.
