MANILA, Philippines —  Itinaas ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) ang Alert Level sa Metro Manila at iba pang lugar sa Pilipinas makaraan na umakyat sa 8.8% ang positivity rate sa buong bansa.

Mula Abril 15 hanggang 30, inilagay sa Alert Level 2 ang Benguet; Ifugao; Quezon Province; Palawan; Camarines Norte; Masbate; Antique; Negros Occidental; Bohol; Cebu Province; Negros Oriental; Leyte; Western Samar; Lanao del Norte; Davao de Oro; Davao del Norte; Davao del Sur; Davao Occidental; North Cotabato; Sarangani; Sultan Kudarat; Dinagat Islands; Basilan; Maguindanao; Sulu; at Tawi-Tawi.

Sa ilalim ng Alert Le­vel 2, nasa 50% lang ang pinapayagang kapasidad ng ilang piling mga establisimiyento at aktibidad para sa mga bakunadong adults at minors, habang 70% sa outdoors.

Ang Level 1 na pinakamababang alert level ay pinapayagan ang pagbiyahe kahit anong istatus ng edad o comorbidity ng isang tao. Lahat ng tao at aktibidad ay pinapayagan o ‘full on-site o full venue/seating capacity’ kung matitiyak na sumusunod ang lahat sa ‘minimum public health standards.

Bukod sa NCR, nasa Alert Level 1 din ang: Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR); Region I; Region II; Region III; Region IV-A; Region IV-B; Region V; Region VI; Region VII; Region VIII; Region IX; Region X; Region XI; Region XII; Caraga; at Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Inaprubahan ang IATF resolution nitong Abril 14 na pinirmahan ng Chairperson nito na si Department of Health Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire at IATF Co-Chairperson at Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos.
