MANILA, Philippines — Halos 100,000 katao na ang naapektuhan ng nagdaang bagyong Ämang"sa sari-saring parte ng Pilipinas, bagay na nag-iwan ng milyun-milyong pinsala at mga residente sa evacuation centers.

Sa huling taya ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Biyernes, pumalo na sa 95,337 katao na ang naapektuhan ng naturang sama ng panahon:

  • Apektadong pamilya: 25,762
  • Apektadong baranggay: 162
  • Lumikas sa evacuation center: 122,632
  • Nasa labas ng evacuaton: 26

Nananatiling nasa P12.34 milyong halaga ng pinsala na ang naidudulot nito sa sektor ng agrikultura, dahilan para masalanta ang nasa 1,324 na magsasaka.

Patially damaged sa mga nabanggit ang nasa 1,096 hektaryang bukirin. Kaugnay niyan, 663,93 metric tons na ang production loss kung volume ang pag-uusapan.

Huwebes lang nang sabihin ng Department of Social Welfare and Development Region V na merong 42,717 family food packs (FFPs) at 51,284 non-food items na avilable ngayon sa kanilang warehouses pati na sa local government units.

Nakapagbigay naman na raw ng 7,000 FFPs sa PLGU-Camarines Sur bilang resources augmentation.

"Furthermore, the Field Office is continuously monitoring the status and updates from the six (6) provinces on the affected or displaced families and needs assessment," ayon sa DSWD Region V.

"The agency is also coordinating with the LGUs for the provision of resource augmentation."

Sa kabila nito, magdadala pa rin ito ng maulap na mga himpapawid at kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at pagkidlap sa Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales at Bataan ngayong araw.
