Russia handang magsuplay sa Pinas ng COVID-19 vaccine
Sa isang online press briefing, sinabi ni Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Igor Khovaev na nakapag-develop sila ng mabisa at ligtas na bakuna na maaari nilang isuplay sa bansa.

MANILA, Philippines — Hinihintay na lamang ng Russia ang kasagutan ng Pilipinas sa alok na handa silang magsuplay ng bakuna laban sa COVID-19.

Sa isang online press briefing, sinabi ni Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Igor Khovaev na nakapag-develop sila ng mabisa at ligtas na bakuna na maaari nilang isuplay sa bansa.

Aniya, nakapagsu­mite na rin sila ng proposals sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) para sa clinical trials at local production ng bakuna sa Pilipinas na naghihintay na lamang ng tugon.

“It means that we are ready to combine our efforts, we are ready to make necessary investments together with our Philippine partners and we are ready to share our technologies simply because we want to build a robust partnership between our two nations,” aniya pa.

Sakaling tanggapin ng Pilipinas ang alok, magko-comply naman umano sila sa kina­ka­ilangang proseso sa vaccine distribution sa Pilipinas.

Sinabi ni Khovaev, 20 bansa na ang nagpahayag ng interes na makikipagtulungan sa kanila para sa nasabing bakuna.

“So, according to the analysis of our scientists, the results of the trials are very promising, very positive…The vaccine is effective and safe,” paliwanag ni Khovaev.

Una nang nakipag-ugnayan ang Philippine government sa United States, Taiwan, China, at sa United Kingdom para sa COVID-19 vaccines na bibilhin ng bansa sakaling maging availa­ble na.
