COVID-19 cases lumobo sa 33, sabi ng DOH
MANILA, Philippines — Muling nadagdagan ang kaso ng nakamamatay na coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa Pilipinas, ayon sa pinakahuling tala ng gobyerno, Martes.
Nadagdagan kasi ng siyam ang coronavirus infections sa bansa, dahilan para umabot ito sa 33.
"The Department of Health reported nine new confirmed cases, patients 25 to 33, of the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), on top of the four new cases... accounced yesterday evening," sabi ni Rosario Vergeire, assistant secretary ng public health services team ng DOH.
Unang ibinalita ng DOH na 11 ang nadagdag (o 35 lahat-lahat) ngunit agad na binawi, matapos sabihin na "new positive samples" lang ang mga ito at hindi kaso.
"Upon verification, DOH reported that two of the new positive samples recieved by the epidemiology bureau of DOH are repeat tests taken from patients seven and eight," dagdag ni Vergeire.
Sa ngayon, "stable" ang kondisyon nina patient 21 hanggang 24, "asymptomatic" (o walang sintomas ng sakit) sina patient 25 at 26 habang hinahabol pa ang status nina patient 27 hanggang 33.

Tiniyak naman ng DOH na patuloy pa rin ang isinasagawa nilang contact tracing para sa lahat ng mga kaso.
Katuwang pa rin naman daw nila ang Philippine National Police at iba pang saray ng gobyerno para positibong matukoy ang mga at mapangasiwaan ang mga malalapit sa mga nagpositibong kaso.
Kanina lang nang ipag-utos ng Department of the Interior and Local Government na pagbawalan ng PNP ang mga estudyante na lumapit sa mga matataong lugar gaya ng mga mall, sinehan at palengke upang hindi mahwaan ng COVID-19.
Patuloy din naman daw ang pakikipag-ugnayan nina Vergeire sa mga pamahalaang lungsod, munisipalidad at mga probinsya para sa pagpapatupad ng "infection, prevention and control measures" sa lokal na antas.
Kanina lang nang kumpirmahin ni Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla na galing sa Imus, Cavite ang isa sa mga positibong kaso.

Para sa mga magpapakita ng "mild symptoms" ng sakit na may nakasalamuhang COVID-19 cases, at may kasaysayan ng pagpunta sa ibang bansa, iminumungkahi ng DOH assistant secretary na sumailalim sa "self-isolation" at mag-"home quarantine" sa loob ng 14-araw.
"Those presenting severe and critical symptoms need to be immediately admitted to our health facilities," dagdag pa niya.
