PNP umaasang may survivor  pa sa Cebu landslide

MANILA, Philippines — Sa kabila ng maliit na ang tsansa, umaasa pa rin si Philippine National Police Chief P/Director General Oscar Albayalde na may survivor o maililigtas pa nang buhay sa nangyaring malagim na landslide sa Itogon, Benguet at Naga City, Cebu noong nakalipas na linggo.

“We are hopeful at hindi naman tayo naggi-giveup diyan, we are hopeful sana nga may marekober pang buhay. Hindi tayo puwedeng maging pessimistic na may makukuha pang buhay, especially sa Naga City, Cebu,” ani Albayalde.

Base sa tala, iniulat ni Naga City Police Chief P/Chief Insp. Roderick Gonzales ay nasa 52 bangkay na ang narerekober sa Brgy.Tina-an, Naga City, Cebu. Nasa sampu naman ang sugatang nailigtas at nasa mahigit 50 pa ang nawawala matapos ang malagim na landslide noong Setyembre 20 ng madaling araw.

“The command group and quad staff is closely monitoring the situation in areas of operation where PNP search and rescue units continue to race against time to find more survivors of two landslides in Itogon, Benguet and Naga, Cebu,” anang opisyal.

Kasalukuyan nang nasa state of calamity ang Naga City bunga ng insidente  sa malagim na trahedya.
