Mas marami pa dapat managot sa DAP - Palasyo

MANILA, Philippines – Marami pang kaalyado ni dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino III ang dapat kasuhan dahil sa Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP), ayon sa Malakanyang ngayong Huwebes habang inaakusahan ang Office of the Ombudsman na pinapaboran ang ibang personalidad ng dating administrasyon.

Giniit ni Presidential spokesman Harry Roque na may mga dokumento si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magpapatunay na hindi isinama ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales ang ibang opisyal na pinaniniwalaan na nakinabang sa kontrobersyal na programa.

"The complaint — and this did not just come from president — is that those who were charged over the DAP are from the opposition during the time of President Aquino. Many are complaining about selective justice," ani Roque sa isang press briefing.

"So I am sure many people who should have been charged have yet to be charged and that was what the president meant when he said he has documents. These are allies of the previous administration who have not been charged," dagdag niya.

Tinanggap ni Roque ang pagsasampa ng kaso kay Aquino ngunit kinwestiyon niya kung bakit ngayon lamang lumabas ang desisyon.

"We welcome, of course any effort to bring about accountability of public officers. However, if you will recall I was the one who argued at the Supreme Court against the constitutionality of DAP. Of course, I personally am asking why it took all this time before anyone could be charged with DAP," ani niya.  

"I think it's been over four years since a decision came out."

Nitong nakaraang Miyerkules, inakusahan ni Duterte ang Ombudsman na hindi ginagawa ang trabaho sa ilang reklamo tungkol sa DAP.

"Morales, puro ka laban. One day I will show to you the DAP, yung hindi niya ginalaw," ani Duterte sa isang pagtitipon ng mga konsehal sa Iloilo.

Ang mga lumabas na report sa ibat ibang media na reklamo tungkol sa DAP ay si Aquino at Abad lamang ang mga nasasakdal. Samantala, “selective justice” ang madalas gamiting salita ng mga senador na nadamay at nakasuhan sa Pork Barrel Scam kung saan ang kanilang Priority Development Assistance Fund ay napunta diumano sa mga pekeng foundation para sa mga hindi makitang proyekto.

"I will publish it, There's a new one, after she exits," dagdag ni Duterte noong Miyerkules.

Ang appointee ni Aquino na si Morales ay nakatakdang magretiro sa Hulyo 26.
