Noy ipina-subpoena ng DOJ sa Dengvaxia isyu

Graft and corruption and violation of the Code of Ethics raps might be filed against former government officials over the Dengvaxia controversy, according to Senate blue ribbon committee chairperson Sen. Richard Gordon. He added that the committee might recommend the filing of charges against former President Benigno Aquino III. Michael Varcas 

MANILA, Philippines — Ipinatawag ng Department of Justice sina dating Pangulo Benigno Aquino III, dating Budget Secretary Butch Abad at dating Health Secretary Janette Garin kaugnay ng kontrobersya sa anti-dengue vaccine.

Pinadadalo ng DOJ ang tatlong mga dating opisyal sa pagdinig sa Marso 23.

"Under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, you are hereby directed to appear at Room 140, Mezzanine Floor, Delas Alas Hall Building, Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila, on March 23, 2018 at 10:00 in the morning, in connection with the preliminary investigation of the above-entitled case," nakasaad sa subpoena.

Nag-ugat ang kaso sa inihaing reklamo ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption at Vanguard of the Philippines, Inc laban kina Aquino at 19 iba pa dahil sa pagkamatay ng mga batang naturukan ng Dengvaxia.

Si Aquino ang sinisisi dahil sa pag-apruba ng P3.55 bilyon upang mabii ang anti-dengue vaccine noong 2016.

"This complaint is based on imagination and wrong intention. It is clear that this failed the standards of the law and truth," paliwanag ni Aquino.
