44% na lamang ang nagsasabing mahirap sila Pagbabago ramdam agad ng Pinoy – Palasyo

MANILA, Philippines - Ramdam na ramdam ng bawat Filipino ang pagbabago kahit sa loob lamang ng 6 na buwan na panunungkulan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte matapos lumitaw sa pinakahuling survey ng Social Weather Station sa self-rated poverty kung saan ay 44 percent na lamang ng pamilyang Filipino ang itinuturing ang kanilang sarili na mahirap, ayon kay Presidential Communications Sec. Martin Andanar.

“Change has indeed come, and it is being felt by our people. For 2 consecutive quarters, Filipino families who considered themselves poor reached new record low. In September 2016, or during the 3rd month of the new administration, it was 42 and in December it was 44. These surpassed the previous record of 47 in 1987,” paliwanag ni Sec. Andanar.

Nasa 44 percent o 10 milyong pamilyang Filipino ang ikinukunsidera ang kanilang sarili na ‘mahirap sa isinagawang SWS survey mula Disyembre 3-6, 2016 sa may 1,500 adult respondents nationwide.

Mas mataas man ito ng 2 porsyento sa nakaraang self-rated poverty na 42 % sa 3rd quarter ng 2016 ay itinuturing na mababa pa rin ito  nagtala ng ”new record-low annual average”.

Kumpara sa resulta ng survey noong Disyembre 2014 na 52 percent ang itinuturing na mahirap sila ay mas mababa ng sampung porsyento ang self-rated poverty nitong 4th quarter ng 2016.
