Enero 25, gawing special working holiday - Nancy
Paggunita sa SAF 44
MANILA, Philippines – Nais ni Sen. Nancy Binay na gawing special working holiday ang Enero 25 bilang paggunita na rin sa kabayanihan na ipinakita ng 44 miyembro ng Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) na nasawi sa Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
“The efforts of the SAF44 will always be remembered and is worthy of commemoration. These 44 heroes sacrificed their lives with only one thing in mind: to fulfil their mandate to enforce the law, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and internal security,” wika ni Sen. Binay.
Ipapatupad sana ng PNP-SAF ang mandamyento de aresto laban sa mga teroristang sina Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan at Abdul Basit Usman. Nagkaroon ng palitan ng putok na ikinasawi ng 44 na SAF, Usman at 17 iba pa.
“Not only did they accomplish the mission, they made the PNP-SAF proud and served as an inspiration for cadets and for other training schools and will further promote patriotism and nationalism in the country,” paliwanag pa ni Binay.
