MANILA, Philippines - Bago matapos ang taong 2014, isang malawakang balasahan ang ipinatupad sa kagawaran ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) bilang bahagi umano ng career development sa mga pinuno ng bawat departamento nito.
Sinabi ni Chief Supt. Ariel Barayuga, officer-in-charge ng BFP, ang balasahan ay aprubado ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) na nilagdaan ni Undersecretary for Public Safety Atty. Peter Irving Corvera na may petsang December 22.
Àyon kay Barayuga, ang revamp ay isa lamang reassignment at designation ng iba’t ibang BFP senior officers alinsunod sa Department order No. 2014-1397.
Partikular na maapektuhan ng rigodon ay sina Chief Supt. Rodrigo Abrazaldo, bilang deputy chief for administration ng BFP-NHQ; Chief Supt. Lorenzo de Guia bilang deputy chief for operations ng BFP-NHQ; Chief Supt. Ruben Bearis Jr., bilang Regional Director ng Region 5; Senior Supt. Leonardo Banago bilang Regional director ng Region 1; Senior Supt. Leonard Consolacion bilang Regional director ng Region 2; Supt. Lindy Lauzon bilang OIC, Directorate for personnel ng BFP-NHQ: Senior Supt. Bobby Baruelo bilang Regional Director ng Region 10; Senior Supt Louie Puracan bilang Chief Directorial Staff ng BFP NHQ; Supt. Dagdag ni Barayuga, ang re-assignment ng BFP Senior Officers ay alinsunod sa programa ni DILG Secretary Mar Roxas upang bigyan ng bagong environment sa kanilang ginagalawang trabaho ang mga opisyales ng kagawaran.
