Blotter bawal na sa staff offices ng PNP

MANILA, Philippines - Bawal na ang blotter sa lahat ng staff offices ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na hindi konektado sa imbestigasyon ng anumang uri sa mga nangyayaring krimen sa bansa.

Ito ang bagong polisiya ni PNP Chief Director Gen. Alan Purisima upang maiwasan ang kahalintulad na insidente sa kontrobersyal na kaso sa pagitan ng actor/tv host Vhong Navarro at kampo nina Deniece Cornejo at Cedric Lee.

Ayon kay PNP Public Information Office Chief P/Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac, lahat ng Staff Offices ay pinagbawalan ng magkaroon ng blotter at ang dapat lang ay ang lahat ng mga frontline na presinto na humahawak ng crime investigation at iba pa.

“No staff shall investigate. He is referring to the likes of SPD-Directorate for Investigative and Detective Management Division (DIDM) na humawak sa insidente ng kaso ni Vhong, dapat daw wala ng police blotter yun. Only units that investigate shall be authorized to have blotters,” ani Sindac.

Ang mga staff offices ay kinabibilangan ng Administrative, Personnel, Logistics, Investigation at Intelligence habang ang dapat magmantine ng blotter ay ang Criminal Investigation and Detection Group at Highway Patrol Group (HPG). Sakaling sa District lumapit ay dapat ihatid ang nagrereklamo sa station at asistehan o tulungan ito.

Importante sa blotter ang DTPO (date, time and place of occurrence) at dapat may police response.

“The fact na pumunta ka sa police station, you subject yourself to the authority and regulation of the police station already,  the fact that you reported the matter to the police station, you submit yourselves to the regulations of that police stations,” sabi ni Sindac.

Magugunita na nalagay sa mainit na isyu ang SPD dahil sa kontrobersyal na blotter na noong una ay nagkalituhan pa kung saan naï-file matapos na ihayag ng Taguig City Police na wala silang blotter ukol sa insidenteng kinasangkutan ni Vhong, Cornejo at Lee.
