MANILA, Philippines - Iginiit kahapon ni PCSO chairperson Margie Juico na matagal na niyang pinatawad si former PCSO chairman Manoling Morato sa personal na pag-atake sa kanya.
Sinabi ni Chairperson Juico, bilang isang maÂbuting Kristiyano ay matagal na niyang napatawad si Morato na humingi mismo ng kapatawaran niya noong Huwebes sa pamamagitan ng sulat.
“I hope Mr. Morato has forgiven me too for whatever pain he perceives he suffered as a result of my faithfully performing my duties as PCSO Chairperson.†Paliwanag pa ni Juico.
Magugunita na pinayagang maglagak ng piyansa sina Morato, former PCSO chief Sergio Valencia at former PCSO director Rey Roquero kaugnay sa P366-M plunder case nito sa First Division ng Sandiganbayan.
Sinabing na-divert umano ng nasabing mga opisyal ang P336-M intelligence fund mula 2008 hanggang 2010 na nagging dahilan ng pagsasampa ng kaso sa anti-graft court.
“The news that he and several co-accused were granted bail in the cases filed by PCSO, is testament to the Aquino administration’s sense of justice. It has not muscled power against anyone and displayed the highest respect for the judiciary,†giit pa ng PCSO chair.
