MANILA, Philippines - Puwede nang magtrabaho sa New Zealand ang mga Filipino tourists sa loob ng isang taon batay sa naging kasunduan ng Pilipinas at New Zealand na sinaksihan mismo nina Pangulong Aquino at New Zealand Prime Minister John Key.
“The President attended a press conference together with the Prime Minister of New Zealand wherein he delivered a statement and witnessed the signing of the following bilateral agreements: first, the geothermal energy cooperation agreement; second, the working holiday scheme; and third, the memorandum of agreement concerning defense cooperation,” wika ni Presidential deputy spokesman Abigail Valte.
Ang mga Pinoy tourists na may edad 18-30 ay papayagang makapagtrabaho sa New Zealand sa ilalim ng working holiday scheme sa loob ng 1 taon.
“Participant may engage in work for the entire 12 months of stay but no longer than any three months for any given employer, or may study for up to three months,” sabi pa ni Valte.
