Abogado ni Napoles nagbitiw

MANILA, Philippines – Nagbitiw na bilang abogado ng itinuturong pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles si Lorna Kapunan ngayong Miyerkules.

Si Kapunan ang abogado ni Napoles para sa kinakaharap na kasong serious illegal detention case na inihain ng pork scam whistleblower Benhur Luy.

Umalis umano sa kampo ni Napoles si Kapunan dahil sa magkaibang opinyon.

Hindi sumipot si Kapunan ngayong araw sa padinig ng pagpiyansa ni Napoles sa kasong serious illegal detention case sa Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 150.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong si Napoles sa Fort Sto. Domingo sa Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.

Kahapon sa pagdinig ng naturang kaso sa Makati RTC ay sinabi pa ni Kapunan na minamadali nila na pagbiyang makapagpiyansa si Napoles upang mabisita ang puntod ng ina sa nalalapit na Undas.

"She was hoping nga sana na matapos na yung bail hearing. As a matter of fact, based on the original schedule, dapat tapos na to last week. But napakatagal. They (prosecution) had a total of eight witnesses. This is the second day on the cross examination (of Benhur Luy). She is very sad because the prosecution took so long, she may not be able to visit her mother because pending pa rin yung bail hearing," pahayag ng Kapunan.

"As you very well know, she was very close to her mother. She surrendered in front of her mother's mausoleum. Napakalapit niya sa nanay niya and suddenly this is the first time that she will not be able to join her mother. That is why we have been trying to speed-up these bail hearings but apparently to no avail," dagdag ng abogado.
