State of the Nation Address (SONA).

"There is no escaping it when SONA comes. The President must speak out on the issue of high water rates and the problems with the current MWSS concession agreement. The issue strikes at the very heart of the government’s privatization program," ani Bayan secretary general Renato Reyes Jr.

"Is the President for or against high water rates and is he going to review the water concession agreement. Billions of pesos were charged from consumers because the private firms believed they could do so under the concession agreement," dagdag ni Reyes.
