Poe umangat sa survey; Villar tanggal sa 'Magic 12'

MANILA, Philippines - Humataw ang senatorial aspirant na si Grace Poe at sumadsad naman si dating Las Piñas representative Cynthia Villar sa "Magic 12" ng nationwide survey na ginawa ng StratPOLLS kamakailan.

Mula sa 17th spot nitong nakaraang buwan, umangat sa third place si Poe na nakakuha ng 63 porsyentong vote shares sa isinagawang survey ng StratPOLLS

Sinabi ng StratPOLLS na "virtually tied" na si Poe kay incumbent Sen. Francis Escudero na may 63.2-percentage vote shares.

"Poe was the better beneficiary of the Erap endorsements. The core votes of the late FPJ are still out there for her taking," sabi ng polling firm.

Iniendorso ni dating pangulong Joseph Estrada ang kanyang anak na si JV Ejercito gayun din si Poe na nauna nang pinatalsik bilang guest candidate ng United Nationalist Alliance dahil sa hindi pagdalo sa mga campaign sortie nito.

Ang naturang survey ay may kabuuang 1,200 na mga respondents at isinagawa mula Marso 8 hanggang Marso 13.

Samantala, mula sa 7th-8th rank na may 59-percentage vote share, bumagsak si Villar sa 13th spot na may 49.1-percent share.

Ayon sa StratPOLLS, nakaapekto sa kandidatura ni Villar ang kanyang pahayag noong nakalipas na buwan tungkol sa mga nars sa bansa.

Nangunguna pa rin sa listahan si reelectionist Sen. Loren Legarda, na nakakuha ng 75.2-percent vote shares.

Pinakamataas naman sa mga taga-oposisyon si Nancy Binay na umakyat sa 4th spot sa vote shares na 59.7 percent at nasa 6th spot naman si JV Ejercito sa vote shares na 59 percent.

"Sharing Nos. 7-8 were Enrile and Trillanes, 54.7 apiece. Ninth was Sonny Angara with 54 percent, 10th was Migz Zubiri with 52 percent; on 11th was Bam Aquino with 50 percent and number 12 was Senator Koko Pimentel with 49.4 percent," sabi ng StratPOLLS.
