Alam n’yo ba na ang laman ng kalabasa ay hindi importante noong unang panahon dahil mas ginagamit ang shell o balat nito bilang lalagyan, kutsara at sandok. Nabigyang pansin lang ang laman ng kalabasa pagsapit ng pre-Columbian Indian kapwa sa South at North America.
