Romando Artes.

Ganundin si Film Development Council of the Philippines Chair Jose Javier Reyes.

Maaga ring dumating si Roselle Monteverde ng Regal Entertainment with her son Keith; Atty. Joji Alonso (Quantum Films), Bryan Dy (Mentorque), directors Jun Lana, Perci Intalan, Pepe Diokno, Mike Tuviera and movie producer, businessman and sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan.

“I’m appreciative and happy about this because I think this is the first time na nabigyan ng pansin ang movie industry,” sabi ni Ms Roselle.

“So kami, we will just execute it the way you want it, but we will also do business matching between the theaters or whoever can really also distribute these films or this television series all over. Kasi ‘yung mga film natin or teleseryes is also the same as ‘yung mga kwento ba, type rin ng mga locals doon, ng Asians, the same way we also like the stories of the Korean ‘di ba. So it’s the same; we can also cater to actually Japanese or to anyone all over the world who wants to watch ‘yung mga Filipino teleseryes. Then we just translate it the same way we do it in Korean. So, there’s going to be an aggressive approach on this,” pahayag ni Sec. Cris.

“But if we say, let’s say, Italy or Japan or the Middle East, at least, maraming Filipino. And ‘yun ang uunahin natin. Kasi hindi naman natin magawa all at one time, eh? So ang best talaga is to really do the target,” detalyadong pahayag ni Sec. Cris sa amin nang minsang maka-lunch namin.

(Mr. President: “Anytime you feel like it just come here!”) (A bit of trivia for you: The very first time I saw a disco was at 14, in Malacañang. Saw Pope Paul VI in Malacañang. Had so many merienda/dinners with The President’s Father and Mother in Malacañang as we used to campaign for them. Spent a whole afternoon and evening with the President’s parents at their home in Hawaii.

“Had dinner with Pres. BBM and the FL in their home in Ilocos. Madame Imelda was a Principal Sponsor at GC’s and my wedding, & it was Pres. Marcos, Sr. who stayed at our party for hours! So many memories. My favorite in their family has always been Pres. BBM.) When we arrived tonight, I got the warmest hug from the FL, like no time had passed! And then of course, the warmest, biggest hug from the President. With some side kwento, just like old times! Thank you so much again, Mr. President and Madam First Lady! #oldfriends.”

Kiko bilang nasa kalabang partido sila noong nakaraang election.
