Sixteen, yes 16, ang casual na sagot ni Joey Marquez sa tanong kung ilan ang kanyang anak sa interbyuhang naganap sa kanila ng TV host na si Pia Arcangel sa programang Tunay Na Buhay.

 “Oo,” sagot muli ni Joey as casually enumerated the names ng kanyang mga anak, mula sa panganay, hanggang sa bunso. Na, two years old pa lamang yata.

 In the case pa nga raw ni Winwyn Marquez, whose mom is Alma Moreno, she finished both a teaching and business management courses, from both the San Beda College in Alabang at Southville International School in Paranaque City.

Formerly a beauty queen too, she was Miss World Philippines circa 2017.

That same year, she won the International title Reina Hispanoamericana.

“Kaya nga patas na sila ng kanyang auntie Melanie Marquez, (nakababatang kapatid ni Joey, who was the first Filipina to win the Miss International title in 1979),” nagmamalaking saad ni Joey.

Winwyn is in showbiz na rin. She played a kontrabida and won kudos for her performance in the katatapos na series, Owe My Love, co-starring her with Lovi Poe, Benjamin Alves at AiAi delas Alas, among others.

Of Joey, because he is not as busy sa showbiz as he used to, obviously because of the existing pandemic, he is, most of the time, with his current loved one, Malu Quintana, in their farm in Cavite, na punung-puno ng tanim, ng kung anu-anong prutas.
