Christmas party ng PMPC nakakalula ang mga papremyo
Parehong nakakatuwa at nakaka-excite ang katatapos lang na Christmas party ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), organization ng mga entertainment editor at writer, representing all of the print media’s, mapa-broadsheet man o tabloid ng entertainment section.
This year, Sandy Es Mariano heads the organization. Sandy, thus, served as head too ng committee behind the successful party.
Lending him support sina Rodel Fernando as Chairman at si Fernan de Guzman, former PMPC President himself, as Vice Chairman.
Nakakalula sa rami ng papremyong na-solicit ang committee for the raffle, at ‘di basta-bastang premyo lang ha, as they include five washing machine, tatlong three inches na TV sets, plus cash prizes, too. Mga artista, director at producer ang mga donor.
May galore, of course ng mga lesser prize. Basta walang luhaang umuwi among the members na present who included past PMPC Presidents Ronald Constantino, Letty Celi, Melba Llanera, Roldan Castro and Julie Bonifacio, among others.
Pokwang may mga bagong recipe sa pagluluto
For their Noche Buena this year, Pokwang surprised her family with new recipes na kailan lang niya natutunan.
Family for Pokwang, of course, doesn’t only consist of her American partner, Lee O’Brian, and her daughters, Ria Mae and Malia, but of her Mom and siblings too.
Hindi man ang mga ito ang kasama niya sa bahay, close contact pa rin sila, and they just love her cooking.
Magaling din magluto ang panganay niyang si Ria Mae, who is a culinary arts graduate. She now works as a chef sa isang plush restaurant sa Bonifacio Global City.
Common knowledge, Pokwang wishes to put up a restaurant which she and Ria Mae will manage.
Samantala, kasama si Pokwang sa pelikulang Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity nina Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza at Jake Cuenca na entry sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2019. Kasama rin nila sina Wally Bayola at Jose Manalo.
Tuwing Linggo naman ay mapapanood siya sa Banana Sundae kung saan kasama naman niya sina Angelica Panganiban, Ryan Bang, Pooh, at John Prats. Mula ito sa direksyon ni Frasco Mortiz.
Angelica at Bea dedma kahit malamig ang Pasko
Of Angelica P., she and Bea Alonzo both marked na malamig ang kanilang Pasko, which didn’t bother them naman, they said.
Instead daw, they looked forward sa next assignments nila, katulad na lang ni Angelica na may bagong project kay Coco Martin, at si Bea naman sa bagong serye kay Richard Gutierrez.
Pareho raw na-realized ng dalawa na hindi nila makukuha ang lahat ng gustuhin nila.
Sumumpa si Angelica na tapos na talaga siya kay Carlo Aquino. Bea on the other hand, said, she will not mind if it will take a while bago siya umibig muli.
Hopefully, she said, when she does fall in love anew, he will finally be the right one.
Huling na-linked si Bea kay Gerald Anderson. She was 32 years old.
