Aminado ang direktor na si Victor Villanueva, director ng soon-to-be released Star Cinema comedy movie, Kusina Kings, co-starring Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez, na may ilang humor ng pelikula, which might be considered “green,” pero, hindi naman offensive.
Ang ganda raw ng pagkaka-deliver nina Zanjoe at Empoy sa ilang jokes na ito. Isa na nga rito ay napapanood sa trailer ng pelikula.
Itinuturing ni direk Victor na “passion projects” niya at ng Star Cinema ang Kusina Kings, dahil taon din daw ang binilang bago naisakatuparan ito.
“It’s a good and totally humorous movie,” susog pa ni direk Victor. “And one thing more admirable about Kusina Kings is that, puwedeng may mapulot ang manonood sa pagluluto.”
Only in his 30s, direk Victor is well-remembered for the humor he displayed in his movie Patay Na Si Hesus na pinagbidahan ng serious and drama actress na si Jaclyn Jose.

Gary balik na sa pagiging hurado
Anytime soon, babalik na si Gary Valenciano bilang fellow jurors sina Sharon Cuneta at Ogie Alcasid sa programang Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids. Ganun din bilang juror ng Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) ng It’s Showtime.
God has been good to him, according to Gary, as it is common knowledge that he submitted to a heart by-pass operation and also underwent a quick kidney surgery, dahil his doctor discovered an abnormal growth, na puwedeng cancer daw.
Nakapag-perform na last Tuesday si Gary sa isang concert sa New World Hotel for the Panasonic PH event directed by his son, Paolo Valenciano.

Condolences to the family of the late Bhelle Francisco, who used to be with the staff of Alma Moreno’s dance show, Loveliness, according to fellow entertainment columnist, Nene Riego.
Her remains now lie in state at the Love Chapel, Arlington Memorial Chapels, Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
Cremation memorial services will take place 2:00 p.m., July 23.
