Eddys film icons mas nagpatingkad sa The Eddys
Anim na trophy ang nagsungkit ng indie film na Respeto sa ginanap na The Eddys 2018 the other night sa The Theatre At Solaire ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd).
Naiuwi nila ang Best Film, Best Supporting Actress at Best Supporting Actor at tatlo pang minor awards.
Ang pelikulang BirdShot naman ay nagbigay ng Best Director award kay Mikhail Red and Best Actress para kay Mary Joy Apostol.
Bukod kay Chai, nanalo ring Best Supporting Actress sina Angeli Bayani (Maestra) and Therese Malvar (Ilawod) at Best Supporting Actor si Dido dela Paz (Respeto).
Best Actor naman si Aga Muhlach for Seven Sundays.
Nagbigay naman ng kakaibang kulay sa Awards night ang EDDYS Film Icons of the Year na sina Eddie Garcia, Charo Santos-Concio, Nora Aunor and Maricel Soriano. Kasama rin dito ang dalawang movie queen na sina Gloria Romero at Susan Roces pero pareho silang hindi nakadalo.
Ang yumaong entertainment columnist at film critic na si Mario Hernando ang tumanggap ng 2018 EDDYS Manny Pichel Award habang ang veteran entertainment editor na si Ricky Lo ang Joe Quirino awardee this year.
Binigyan din ng tribute (Posthumous) ang award-winning director na si Maryo J. Delos Reyes.
Inaalala naman ang mga namayapa for one year na bahagi ng movie industry. Nakakagulat na ang dami pala.
Nagsilbing hosts ang magkapatid na Ruffa at Raymond Gutierrez habang sina Rhian Ramos at Tim Yap ang anchors sa red carpet. Super seksi Rhian sa suot niyang gown sa ginanap na super trending The Eddys 2018 na single na uli si kaya naman mina-match sila ni Jolo Revilla.
Best Dressed sina JC Santos at Sanya Lopez habang sina David Licauco at Andrea Torres waging Stars of the Night.
