Onyok sigurado nang kasama sa paglipad ni Darna

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Hindi pa man natitiyak kung sino sa mga female talent ng Kapamilya ang magiging final replacement ni Angel Locsin bilang Darna, nakasisiguro na si Simoun Pineda, more popularly known as Onyok in the series, Ang Probinsyano, na sa kanya mapupunta ang role na Ding, ang batang tuwing “lumilipad” si Darna sa himpapawid ay nakasakay sa kanyang likuran.

This early, the role excites the boy, according to a source.

Tulad ng excitement na nadarama raw niya, when he was tapped for the role as Onyok, Coco Martin’s sidekick sa Ang Probinsyano.

In a talk we had recently with Reality Entertainment’s head, Dondon Monteverde, who closely works with Direk Erik Matti, who is assigned by Star Cinema to helm Darna, para sa kanya, the most ideal Darna is still Angel.

Dondon is the producer of the controversial Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, which won for Direk Erik a best direktor trophy, but obviously did not satisfy him.

As far as they are concerned, tuloy pa rin ang gagawin nilang pakikipaglaban sa mga kinauukulan in this year’s MMFF, dahil nga sa desisyon ng body to disqualify Honor Thy Father from the best picture honor roll.

Ningning papalitan nina Erich at Daniel

Confirmed na sa timeslot na “iiwanan” ng Ningning, which is set to end in two weeks, ipapalabas ang bagong series na Be My Lady, co-starring real-life sweethearts, Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga.

Ningning, which is aired bilang pre-programming  ng bagong “bihis” din na It’s Showtime, stars child actress Jana Agoncillo, Rommel Padilla, Nyoy Volante, Vandolph and the mother and daughter team nina Sylvia Sanchez and Ria Atayde.

Playing the role of Ningning’s Dad is Ketchup Eusebio.

Be My Lady marks for the first time the appearance together in a series nina Janice de Belen at Priscilla Meirelles.

Janice, of course, is the former ng now actor-husband ni Priscilla, si John Estrada.

Maliban kay Ogie Alcasid, who will host the upcoming singing competition on TV5, first among the projects ni Boss Vic del Rosario, bilang entertainment strategist ng Network, Born To Be A Star, mapi-feauture din as jurors sina Aiza Seguerra, Rico Blanco, at Mark Bautista.

Magiging busy year for Aiza ang taong 2016, since with “wife” Liza Diño, she is working on a documentary about the Lumads.

Balak din daw ng “mag-asawa” to produce a movie about the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender at Queer (LGBT) community. Hindi pa nila binabanggit kung sinu-sino ang mga stars na ipi-feature sa project nilang ito.

By the way, Liza has a “small” role in the movie, #WalangForever, which was adjudged best picture in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Starring in #WalangForever, are Jericho Rosales and Jennylyn Mercado.

Nagmarka rin ang role ni Liza bilang isang liberated Filipino-American sa indie movie na Toto, which was part of the New Wave in the MMFF 2015.
