No less than Atty. Bebong Muñoz, head ng TV5 Artist Center, announced this. Likewise, Atty.

Among the non-TV5 talents na aming namataan were Ella Cruz at Angelica Yap, na mas kilala bilang Pastillas Girl.

Pareho silang ‘bred’ by ABS-CBN, kumbaga.

Pero, heto at naunahan nga siya ng anak na si Dondon Monteverde, who is the producer of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Honor Thy Father, which John Lloyd Cruz topbills, along with Meryll Soriano, Dan Fernandez, Boom Labrusca, Khalil Ramos and ex-couple William Martinez and Yayo Aguila.

Honor Thy Father…. marks the first time na magkasama uli sa pelikula ang dating mag-asawang sina William at Yayo.

Second movie naman ito ni Khalil with John Lloyd, with whom he appeared with, too, in A Second Chance.

Parang comeback movie of sorts naman ito ni Dan, na more of a politician na ngayon. He is running for Mayor ng Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

From Dan, we learned, na hiwalay na sila ng kanyang asawang si Shiela Ysrael.

Meryll mas lalong na-impress kay JLC

Of Meryll, Honor… she says, is her first time na maka-team up si John Lloyd, whom she admires so much as an actor.

“Lalo kang mai-impress once you work with him,” aniya.

For one, pumayag siyang magpa-kalbo rito,” pahayag pa ni Meryll.

Directed by Erik Matti and produced by Reality Entertainment, the film is expected to hold the audience in awe, as they watch it.

Of Honor… which was graded “A” by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB), John Lloyd said he feels honored na tinanggap niya ang pelikula.

By the way, John Lloyd’s blockbuster movie, A Second Chance, with Bea Alonzo, is still showing in theaters nationwide.
