Supporters ni Sen. Grace hindi pa rin sumusuko

Feeling sad ako dahil sa cancellation kahapon ng First Division ng COMELEC sa certificate of candidacy ni Senator Grace Poe na kumakandidato na presidente ng Pilipinas sa 2016.

Kunsabagay, expected ng supporters ni Mama Grace ang mangyayari kaya umaasa sila na magi­ging pabor ang desisyon ng Supreme Court sa stan­dard bearer ng Partido Galing at Puso.

Kabilang si Edu Manzano sa nalungkot sa na­ging desisyon ng First Division dahil si Mama Grace ang presidentiable na sinusuportahan niya. Senatorial candidate ng Partido Galing at Puso si Papa Edu.

Naglabas ng official statement si Mama Grace nang malaman niya kahapon ang desisyon ng First Division ng COMELEC.

Hindi ipinagkait ni Mama Grace sa mga supporter ang nararamdaman niya tungkol sa bagong pagsubok sa kanyang pangarap na mapaglingkuran ang mga Pilipino.

“I am a true Filipino from birth. I was raised as a Filipino, lived, studied, got married in the Philippines, and wish to serve fellow Filipinos as a Filipino. That my very identity is being taken away from me, is hurtful.

“When the disqualification cases against me were filed, all I asked for was a fair consideration of the facts. We submitted evidence of my citizenship and residence, putting our full faith in a just process. It is sad that the COMELEC First Division has chosen to ignore the facts just to deny me the chance to better serve our countrymen, and to also deny our people their choices in an open election.

I will say it again: This issue is not just about my candidacy. How these cases will be resolved will ultimately pervade the lives, status and limited opportunities accorded to all other foundlings, putting them at disadvantage for reasons and circumstances that are not their doing.

“It will also affect once and current overseas Filipinos who may wish to give back to their true country through public service. Thus, that institutions are being used to exclude fellow Filipinos, is a cause for serious concern. Our laws should protect and defend their welfare, not shut them out.

“We will appeal to the COMELEC and the Supreme Court to uphold the truth, and the spirit and aims of our Constitution.

“In the meantime, I assure you that I am still a candidate for president. Let us fight for genuine democratic elections, where the people’s welfare takes front and center. Thank you for your unwavering support.”

Singer-actress may amnesia ‘pag nasa mall

May “amnesia” pala ang singer-actress dahil hindi siya marunong makakilala ng mga tao na madalas na nakakasama niya.

Imbyerna ang mga anak ng friend ko sa singer-actress dahil palagi itong pumupunta sa kanilang bahay at maganda ang pag-aasikaso nila.

Pero naloka ang mga bagets nang makasalubong nila sa isang mall sa Makati City ang singer-actress.

Buong ningning na binati ng mga bagets ang singer-actress pero dedma ito as in tagusan ang tingin sa kanila.

Napahiya ang mga bagets dahil sila ang nagmuk­hang tanga sa pagmamagandang loob na ipinakita nila.

Nagsumbong ang mga bagets sa kanilang madir dahil personal friend ito ng singer-actress. Ewan ko lang kung ma-invite pa uli ang singer-actress sa bahay ng friend ko na very generous at may mabuti na kalooban.
